Application:

Oxidative chlorination catalyst.Rubidium hydroxide hydrate is used in fireworks in place of pure rubidium to get violet color, thereby it prevents the waste of expensive element rubidium. It acts as an intermediate in the synthesis of other rubidium compounds.
