Product Description
Oxytocin parallel dimer is the disulfide-bridged homo peptide dimer. Oxytocin dimer has oxytocin and Vasotocin-like activity with less toxic than oxytocin.
In Vitro
The parallel and antiparallel homo/hetero bis-cystine dimers of oxytocin and deamino-oxytocin show biological activities ranged from 0.2% to 6% that of oxytocin. MCE has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
In Vivo
Oxytocin dimer (iv; single dose) shows acute toxicity (LD 50 =43 mg/kg) is less than that of oxytocin (LD 50 =25 mg/kg) in rats. MCE has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
