Product Description	DSPE-PEG-Mal, MW 2K is a polyPEG derivative with DSPE and maleimide moieties. The DSPE group is a phospholipid that is used in the construction of cell membranes. Maleimides react with thiols between pH 6.5 to 7.5. The hydrophilic PEG chain increases the water solubility of the compound in aqueous media.
